Clean room. Good breakfast. Cold, but polite staff. The free private parking is absolutely necessary. 50 Euro per night it's only a fair price.
Weird neighborhood, especially after midnight. Many homeless and imigrants. The hotel is quite old and not recently renovated. The bathroom instalations are old. When flushing the toilet, most of the water spouts outside. The bathtub is extremely narrow.
Nice breakfast, the view from balcony to Pantheon
The rooms are old, bathroom is moldy, surroundings does not seem to be unsafe but very unpleasant to walk through. Better pay a bit more and stay at Plaka or some other more nice areas of Athens
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable clean room, good breakfast, good facilities.
Good-sized room with a nice balcony, tasty breakfast, very helpful staff.other reviews say that the location is a bit dodgy but we didn't find it dodgy-it's like any inner city and just of a main street.convenient to metro.
the service people are really helpful if you ask.
Location was great and within walking distance of almost everything worth seeing. Although the area was a bit dodgy, we were two females alone and never felt concerned for our safety, even when returning from dinner in the night. Staff were very friendly and breakfast good.
No WiFi on top floors as router not strong enough to reach the top floors.
Staff was good and they have a tourist desk which is very helpful
Location it is in the red light area which wasn't mentioned on Booked.net
The hotel is quite central, 5-10 min walk from Omonia square and you have the metro there. The hotel is nice, simple rooms good for packet!
The area where the hotel is located is poor...bodgy. Breakfast is not a big deal, enough but nothing special.
Very polite people. The privet parking was the bigest plus for us.
the staff are very nice .
the surrounding is very dangerous at night ,no internet ,no hot water in the morning .
Located in a central area of Athens, close to a metro station, very clean hotel with great facilities and friendly staff!!
One thing that caught my attention is the elderly man from the reception who was very kind and accommodating to help me prepare the one-day cruise plus asking for directions how to get to some places. He was even kind enough to write a few words/phrases in Greek. Sadly, I wasn't able to get his name. Another thing I like is that they change the towels everyday, so we have clean towels to use each day. Price is reasonable too and near the Metro (Metaxhourgio Station).
Sadly, there are a few things I don't like about the hotel: Buffet Breakfast is very limited!!! Spent 5 days there and I got tired of eating the same thing!!! Very few choices and even just for the eggs, you only have sunny-side up overcooked!!! You can't even have scrambled or boiled eggs! Other options how eggs are cooked. Including the vegetables available, I asked for onions to go along with my salad but they don't have!!! Or the staff can't speak english that she didn't know what I asked for. Everyday, tomatoes and cucumber are served plus the black olives. Given that the hotel is 3-stars, it doesn't even have room service!!! You need to borrow flat iron and the board, take your own hot water in the lobby cafe!!! No welcome tea/coffee in the room!!! Not even a teapot/water kettle to have hot water!!! It was so inconvenient to go down the lobby and out of your room just for a hot water. I even asked the staff during breakfast if they have microwave oven so I can re-heat supposedly a meal for my breakfast for a change but again she couldn't understand me so I settled for an instant noodle soup and took hot water instead. Also, the other guy from the reception, the younger one is not very helpful and friendly for tourists like us who doesn't know the place and not too familiar with Metros, he is too lazy to tell us exactly how to get there while he was just sitting in the reception, not too busy to ignore us. In my country (Philippines), we are best known for our hospitality, we would extend the extra mile of service to be of help to anyone, whether a fellow Filipino and much more to a foreigner but sadly we didn't had that comfort while in Greece. Even the public tend to be less friendly helping tourists like us to know our way around looking at some popular/historical places.
Generaly helpful staff.Free internet and printing (in the receptions) so is good if you looking for information about atractions and maps.Breakfast very tasty:fried eggs and becons, freshed breads and croissant, yogurt, jams, honey, fruits, hams, cheese, cofffe, teas, juices etc...nice and roomy breakfast room.Air conditioned room with mini bar, good prices.
Location is awful, unsafe,DANGER.I Never was as scared on holiday before- a lot homless, drugs addicter(doing it on your eyes during the day) on the strrets around the hotel walking with stringers behind the ear.We couldt see Athens at night because we have to back earlier to hotel because to scared to back at night.Car park only 6 places-not to many(free)behind the gate.Do not think to leave a car on the steet because of neighborhood.Prostitues on the streets-awful.I Would recommend the hotel but not a location.
Price was a main priority with free internet and breakfast
Location was 1-2 block from what I'd call a rough area. I stumbled into it by accident, there seemed to be a lot of drunks / druggies (during the day), I felt a little threatened. The hotel is good for the money paid, just make sure you read the maps properly if your heading to the metro stations and you'll avoid the rough side of town
Good value for your money. Only paid 33 euros a night! Nothing fancy about this place but it is in a good location at the center of Athens and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The Wi-fi did not work with my Kindle Fire and some amenties they advertised (Bar and dinner service) was not actually avaiable during our stay.
